Mrs. Philip W. Winkler, mother of William A., RR 2, Wellesley, died Tuesday of last week at the Sunnyside Home in Kitchener. She was 73.
The former Jesse Ann Myers, she was born Aug. 3, 1895 in Doon. a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs Allen Myers and lived in Kitchener for the past 26 years. She had previously lived in Saskatchewan. Mrs. Winkler was a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to her son, are her husband, to whom she was married in 1917; three daughters, Mrs. David (Ruth) Bathgate, Saskatchewan; Mrs. Reginald (Vivian) Young, Bermuda and Mrs. Grant (Kathleen) Miller, Kitchener; one brother, Joseph and one sister, Mrs. Jerome (Adria) White, both of Kitchener; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by one son, one daughter and one sister.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo, Rev. R.E. Robinson of First Baptist Church officiating.
Burial took place in Memory Gardens, Breslau.

Mrs. Philip W. Winkler
Mrs. Philip W. Winkler of 16 Homewood Ave. died Tuesday at the Sunnyside Home after a lengthy illness. She was 73.
The former Jesse Ann Myers, she was born Aug. 3, 1895 in Doon, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Allen Myers and lived in Kitchener for the past 26 years. Previously, she lived in Saskatchewan for 23 years. Mrs. Winkler was a member of First Baptist Church, Waterloo.
Surviving are her husband, to whom she was married in 1917, one son, William A., RR 2, Wellesley; three daughters, Mrs. David (Ruth) Bathgate, Saskatchewan; Mrs. Reginald (Vivi- an) Young, Bermuda, and Mrs. Grant (Kathleen) Miller, Kitchener; one brother, Joseph, and one sister, Mrs. Jerome (Adria) White, both of Kitchener: 12 grandchildren and one great- grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, daughter and sister.
The body is at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo, where Rev. R. E. Robin- son of First Baptist Church will conduct the service Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Breslau.
