  GERBER, Mrs. Emmanuel (Elizabeth) Peacefully, on Wednesday, March 20, 1991, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Elizabeth Gerber, of RR 1, Millbank. Mrs. Gerber was born in Wilmot township 81 years ago. She was a daughter of the late Nicholas Steckly and the late Catherine Jantzi. Elizabeth was a member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church. Loving wife of Emmanuel W. Gerber of RR 1, Millbank; dear mother of Enos and his wife Rita Gerber of Milverton, Marie and her husband Ivan Jantzi of RR 1, Brunner, Kathryn and her husband Willis Kuepfer of RR 1, Newton, Arthur and his wife Laurene Gerber of RR 1, Gads Hill, Amy and her husband Melvin Kuepfer of RR 1, Newton, Nicholas and his wife Emma Gerber of RR 3, Wellesley, Stanley and his wife Erma Gerber of Brunner, Margaret and her husband Raymond Wagler of Wellesley, Shirley and her husband Larry Gerber of RR 1, Millbank, David and his wife Marilyn Gerber of RR 1, Millbank; dear sister of Nancy and her husband Amos Zehr of Millbank; dear sister-in-law of Ida Steckly of Corfu, N.Y., Mary Zehr of RR 1, Wellesley, Katie Steckly of Wellesley and Emma Steckly of RR 1, Brunner. She is lovingly remembered by 37 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Gordon, October 20, 1963; also by one grandson and one great-granddaughter, four brothers and four sisters. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where the family will receive friends this evening (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The family service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, March 23, at 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m.. Rev. Mahlon Gerber will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials to the Christian Missions to the Communist World would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
