- POMMER, Mrs. Otto - On Wednesday, Oct. 8, 1980, at the REC Unit of the Stratford General Hospital, Mrs. Edna Pommer of Tavistock, formerly of Wellesley. She was born in Poole 85 years ago, daughter of the late Peter Doersom and the late Anna Daub. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Wellesley.
Beloved mother of Sanford of Route 1, Princeton, Arthur of Route 3, Listowel, Helen (Mrs. David Eichler) of Route 1, Stratford, Catherine (Mrs. William Becker) of Route 2, Baden, Esther (Mrs. Isadore Prince) of Kitchener and Mrs. Ruth Schneider of Kitchener and Ruby (Mrs. Lorne Lingelbach) of Route 1, Wellesley. Also survived 35 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Otto; also by two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley. Family will receive friends this evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Noon Saturday, Oct. 11, remains will be removed to St. Mark's Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m., Rev. Orval Jansen officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mark's Lutheran cemetery, Wellesley.
