  ELMIRA - Weldon C. Pommer, 61, of 18 Park Ave., Elmira, died today at St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph, after a short illness. Born near Hesson, Ont., he was a son of Mrs. Margaret Eich of Waterloo and the late Henry Pommer. He was a member of the St. James' Lutheran Church, Elmira, and the church council. In 1919 he was married to the former Edith Heolscher who predeceased him in 1955. He was then married to the former Jean Hydman. Surviving besides his wife and mother are four sons, Leroy of Miami, Fla.; Murray of Linwood and Weldon Jr. and Ross of Elmira; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Bowman of Toronto and Mrs. Clarence Ludwig of Waterloo and four grandchildren. The body will be at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Sunday at 1 pm when removal will be made to St. James' Lutheran Chruch where the funeral will be conducted at 3 pm by Rev. H. W. Baetz, pastor. Burial will be in Elmira Cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 27 Jul 1962
