• Notes

  On Friday evening there passed away within two weeks, the second of the older residents of our village in the person of Mrs. Wm. Hobus, who died from a paralytic stroke at the ripe old age of 72 years, 6 months and 29 days. Deceased was born in Germany and came to this country when but a child. Besides the bereaved husband there are left to mourn the loss of their mother, four daughters, Mrs. Longstaff, of Waterloo; Mrs. Kittel, of Kitchener; Mrs. Henry H. Dahmer, and Mrs. W. Delion residing here. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon from the residence of W. Delion to the Lutheran church and cemetery for service and burial. Rev. G. Weidenhammer conducted the service.
