  BEATTIE, FRANCIS Sudden Death in Puslinch An old and much respected resident of Puslinch, very suddenly, on Thursday, October 8, 1868. He attended to his cattle in the morning and was then apparently in his ordinary health. But on coming into the house, he fell senseless on the floor and never rallied but died about midnight. It is believed that the cause was a paralytic stroke. He had been a resident of Puslinch for about thirty years. -Information from the transcription of Crown Cemetery: Aged 71 years. Husband of Ann Andison, who died Nov. 21(?) 1873, aged 73.
