  BRUBACHER, Elvina (Mrs. Emerson) - Peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Heritage House, St. Jacobs, Elvina (Martin) Brubacher, in her 85th year, formerly of Floradale. Beloved wife for 34 years of the late Emerson Brubacher. Dear mother of Erla and Vernon Martin of Tara, Wilma and David Weber of Elmira, Vera and Clarence Bauman of RR 1, Elora, Rita and Mark Brubacher of Floradale, Irene and Glen Shantz of Fordwich, Marilyn and Mark Weber of Elmira, Clifford and Brenda Martin of RR 1, Elora, Kevin and Diane Martin of RR 2, Alma, Karen and Marlin Martin of Teviotdale. Also seven step-children, Marie and Norman Frey of Elmira, daughter-in-law Karen Brubacher of Floradale, Merle and Pat of Hillsburgh, Mark and Rita Brubacher of Floradale, Ray and Sharon Brubacher of Vancouver, B.C., Grant and Wilma Brubacher of RR 1, Elmira, Leon and Pauline Brubacher of Elmira. Lovingly remembered by 64 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. Sister of Melinda and Isaac Weber, Henry and Selina Martin, Oscar and MaryAnn Martin; and brother-in-law, Elmer Martin. Predeceased by her first husband, Isaac G. Martin after 25 years of marriage; by her parents, Isaac and Rebecca (Weber) Martin, one brother, Aden W. Martin and his wife Alice; one sister, Almeda Martin; sister-in-law, Florence Martin; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive their friends and relatives at Parkview Manors, Floradale (main entrance) on Tuesday, June 30, 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. A family service will be held at Parkview Manors on Wednesday, July 1, 9: 30 a.m., then to North Woolwich Meeting House for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff at Heritage House, St. Jacobs for their tender, loving care of our Mom. It was greatly appreciated.
