    • Benjamin D. Snyder, "was born August 18th, 1827. He was married to Catharine Bechtel who was born September 2nd, 1828. After their marriage they moved on the farm now owned by Abraham Kenzie where he resided until 1862, then moved to St. Jacobs where he was engaged in the milling business until 1871 when he moved to Mannheim. In 1872 he purchased Rev. Moses Erb's farm near Bridgeport where he resided until 1877, then sold out again and moved to Peabody, Kansas, where he is engaged in farming."
