  Mrs. Michael Schlachter, 78, of 21 Theresa St., died Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness, Born Jan. 31, 1881, in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, she was the former Susanna Albrecht, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Albrecht. She was a resident of Kitchener for the past 55 years and was a member of St. John's RC Church. Surviving besides her husband, Michael, are three sons, Albert, John and Joseph, all of Kitchener; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Genevieve) Vogel and Rita, both of Kitchener; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A brother and a sister survive in Hungary. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where prayers will be said Friday at 8:30 a.m. prior to removal to St. John's RC Church for requiem high mass at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home Thursday at 8 p.m. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 9 Sep 1959 pg 5 _____________ Susanna is reported to have been born in Kleinbetschkerek,Hungary, documentation needed.
