    • Shantz, Titus M. , son of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Shantz, was born in Waterloo Twp. , Ont. , May 17, 1881; died at the St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Feb. 1, 1964; aged 82 y. 8 m. 15 d. He was married to Mary Ann Detweiler, who died in 1942. Later he was married to Abbie Detweiler. Surviving are 3 sons (Melvin F. , and E. Clare), one daughter (Anna - Mrs. Elton Cressman), 2 brothers (Norman and Amsey), and one sister (Mrs. Mary Ann Martin), and 4 grandchildren. One son died in infancy. He was a member of the First Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held Feb. 4, in charge of Robert Johnson.
