      HESPELER-Mrs. John Reid of 26 Schoffield St died this morning in South Waterloo Hospital, Galt, following a brief illness.

      The former Annie Blanche Barnes, she was born in Bruce County on Nov 16, 1891. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Barnes. She had lived in Hespeler since 1929. She was a member of St. Luke's United Church. Her husband died in May, 1940.

      She is survived by three sons, John, David and James, of Hespeler; three daughters, Dorothy of Hespeler, Mrs. Ernest (Ruth) Fox of Galt, Mrs. Gordon (Anna May) Dick of Ajax; one brother. Ernest of Gravenhurst; two sisters, Mrs. Norman (Madeline) Gerrard of Windsor and Mrs. Fred (Bea) Ruffles of Detroit; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

      The body will be at the Nelson Funeral Home, 23 Galt St., Hespeler, after noon Tuesday. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Hespeler cemetery.
