  BRAID, Ronald F.M. Peacefully, on Monday, October 28, 2002, at North Wellington Health Centre, Palmerston, Ron Braid, in his 74th year, of Harriston, formerly of Elmira. Lovingly remembered by his children, John and Laura of Alma, Nancy, Gord and Mary Jane, all of Elmira; his grandchildren, Jenny and John, James, David, Ron and Sarah; brother of Rosie and Joe Thompson, Chris and Bill Pivas and Stella Braid. Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Jessie (Johnson) Braid; two brothers, George and Ted and one sister, Grace. At Ron's request cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial visitation for family and friends at Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where a memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m., with The Rev. Dr. Linda J. Bell officiating.
