  John W. Detweiler," was born August 26th, 1802. In 1826 he was married to Barbara Wenger who was born December 14th, 1804, and they moved near Conestogo, Ontario, on the farm now possessed by John Burnett. Here he died June 22nd, 1852. To them were born twelve children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
