_______________
"Ion and Geneva Weber (nee Kinzie) purchased this 200 acre farm with its large bank barn in 1940, and moved here with their seven children. Ion and Geneva farmed her until Ion's untimely death from a stroke in 1949.....
After Ion's death, Geneva continued running the farm with the help of her children. Lawrence and Emerson soon bought their own farms at Goldstone and Conc. 14 of Peel. George operated the farm for a few years, followed by Don and his wife Naomi (nee Yantzi). Geneva bought a house in Elmira at this time. Don rented the farm for five years."
