  WISMER Jeremiah B. On Thursday, Jan. 5, 1984, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Jeremiah Wismer, age 78, of 68 Victoria St. N., New Hamburg, formerly of the Bright area. He had been a member of Shantz Mennonite Church, RR 2, Baden. Beloved husband of the former Elmina Mayer, whom he married May 28, 1931; dear father of Arlene and her husband Carl Riness of Bright, Jean and her husband Bob Innes of Innerkip, Shirley and her husband Bill Thomson of Plattsville and Bruce Wismer and his wife Celeste of Williamsford. A son, Earlus, predeceased him in infancy. He is lovingly remembered by one sister, Ada (Mrs. Lorne Shantz) of RR 2, Baden, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, the late Rev. Orphen Wismer and the former Sarah Bechtel; four brothers and two sisters. Friends and relatives called at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg until Monday, Jan. 9, where the service and committal was held at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Ron Byers officiating.
