  • Notes
    • Abraham Honsberger, "son of Abraham and Esther (Tyson)(Esther was aunt to the father of Abram Tyson of Berlin) Honsberger, was one of the early settlers of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He was born May 3rd, 1782, and was married to Catharine, daughter of Abraham and Esther (Shantz) Bergey (Esther was sister to old Isaac Shantz who was the father of the old Shantzes of this county and mother to old John Bingeman and grandmother to Mr. Jonas Bingeman of Berlin). She was born in the same county, December 3rd, 1786. In 1824 they moved to Canada and settled in Waterloo County, Ontario. Several years after their arrival in this county they settled in Wilmot Township, near New Dundee where they died. His death took place December 6th, 1857, and she died November 2nd, 1874. To them were born eleven children"
