    • MRS. CHRISTIAN DUENCH

      The death occurred at the family residence, 61 Samuel street at 6.50 o'clock last night of Mrs, Christian Duench, aged 74 years, one month and 27 days. The deceased was born in Kitchener on November 2, 1857, the daughter of Mr. and Mrk. Henry Gilbert, and was married on August 1st, 1878 to Mr. Christian Duench. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, Waterloo. The late Mrs. Duench was predeceased by her husband and by one son, Julius, and is survived by two sons, William H. Duench of Kitchener and Edward of Waterloo, One brother, John Gilbert, of Stanstead, P. Q., and one sister, Mrs. Louis Duench, of Bamberg, also survive and there are as well two grandsons. The remains will be at the residence of her son, Mr. W. H. Duench, 61 Samuel street until Friday at noon when they will be removed to the Schreiter Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be conducted by Rey. John Schmieder, pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran church. Interment will be. made in Mount Hope cemetery.
