  Peter C. Erb, "the eldest in family, was born February 16th, 1810. On March 26th, 1832, he was married to Mary Ann Clemens who was born August 16th, 1816, and died March 26th, 1893. They resided on the farm now owned by Levi P. Snyder where he died February 26th, 1873. Their family consisted of nine children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
