    • Well Known Farmer Dies

Herman Ludolph, aged 61 years, a well known farmer of this district, passed away suddenly on Thursday afternoon when seixed with a heart attack as he arrived at the home of a neighbor, Harold Trussler after a short walk through the snow-covered fields. The deceased was the oldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Ludolph and was life-long resident of the community. On June 3, 1914, he married Amelia Gremm who survived together with four children, namely: Paul, Arnold, Meta and Dorothea all at home; besides three sisters, Mrs. William Gremm and the Misses Alberta and Emma Ludolph all of Waterloo; and two brothers, Carl of Arnprior and Albert of R.R. 2 Kitchener. A private funeral service was held at the family residence on Sunday afternoon followed by a public service at 3 o'clock at the Mannheim Lutheran Church of which the late Mr. Ludolph was a faithful member. Rev. W. J. Goos officiated and internment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
