  FARROW, Edna ("Mom") August 19, 1902 - June 24, 1999 At age 96, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, our dear Mom and Gramma, the nucleus of our family left us peacefully, with her children by her side, to be reunited with her loved one's and her dear "Jule"; gone before her to eternal life. Her love of family gatherings, flowers, fishing, play cards, bowling, crocheting, sewing and her faith in God, kept her cherishing each and every day. She was our shining example of zest for life and unconditional love and caring for others. She will live forever in our hearts like a "Rose" with never ending beauty. Edna was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the Ladies of the Moose. Mother to Sherwood and his wife Gloria of Waterloo, Douglas and his wife Janice, Donald and his wife Margaret and Carol and her husband Enos Lichti, all of Kitchener, Thelma and her husband Wilfrid North of Brantford; sister to Gertrude Henderson and Violet Linder, both of Kitchener; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by her parents, Henry Dippel and Hannah Hertel; her husband, Julius in 1956; one son, Arnold who was killed in action in France in 1944; two grandchildren; two brothers, Harold and Wilfred and four sisters, Laura, Bernice, Thelma and Marion. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W.. Kitchener on Monday from 2-4 and 7.9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2: 30 p.m., with Pastor Frank Haggarty officiating. The Record Newspaper 26 Jun 1999 pg B4
