Notes - FREY, Earl C. - At Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo, on Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, Earl Carl Frey, age 87 years, of Kitchener. Mr. Frey was a charter member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church. He was employed with Robson Lang Tannery for 50 years until his retirement. He was a member of Germania Oddfellows Lodge for over 30 years. Beloved husband of Dorothy Martha Anna Frey; dear father of Larry and his wife Faye of Waterloo, David and his wife Linda of Brampton and Karen Caldwell and her husband George of Whitby; lovingly remembered by his seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Michelle and Michael Frey, Gregory Frey and his wife Jennifer, Darren Frey and Amy and John Caldwell; also survived by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Harry and Mary Frey; his first wife, Dorothy Margaret (nee Schmitt); his brother, Armand Frey and his wife Glenna. Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Thursday at 11 am, with Rev. Bill Shafer and Rev. Debra Johnston officiating. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
