    • Andrew Koehler

      A well known and highly esteemed citizen of New Dundee passed away on Saturday in the person of Mr Andrew Koehler, in his 79th year. The deceased had been ill for the last four months. He was born in Kitchener and has been a resident of New Dundee for 28 years. For the past 27 years he had been the rural route mail carrier from New Dundee to Petersburg. He was a faithful member of the New Dundee Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, three sons and three daughters, namely Charles of Kitchener: Henry of Waterloo; Edward of New Dundee; Mrs. Jacobs of New Dundee; Mrs. Poll of Roseville and Miss Cornelia at home. One brother. Louis Koehler, of Waterloo, and sister. Mrs. Morgenroth, of Kitchener, also survive. Deceased had 20 grand-children.

      The funeral took place from the family residence on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock to the New Dundee Lutheran church for service. Interment was made at New Dundee Union cemetery.
