  FORLER, Lavin V (Butch) Of 196 Peel St. New Hamburg, passed away at his residence, on Saturday, March 29, 1975, aged 86 years. He was born in Wellesley; resided most of his life in the New Hamburg area, he was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg and an honorary member of the Board of Trade, he had been active in hockey. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Forler; he is survived by his wife, the former Esther Pauli; five sons, Dr. Claude Forler of Elmira, George of Barrie, Alvin of Kitchener, Gerald of Elmira and Tim of New Hamburg; eight daughters, Mrs. Emmett (Patricia) Kropf of Kitchener, Gertrude Forler of Kitchener, Mrs. Martha Vickers of Dundas, Mrs. Leonard (Shirley) Lorentz of New Hamburg, Helen of Kitchener, Margaret of Payne Bay, Quebec, Mrs. Robert (Paula) Povey of New Hamburg, Connie of New Hamburg; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Bingeman of New Hamburg; also 26 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
