  Catherine Shupe, "the eldest in the family, was born September 10th, 1815. She was married to Nicolas Sararas who was born May 8th, 1808. They resided near New Dundee, where he died July 13th, 1893. To them was born a family of eight children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895).
