    • Samuel S. Shupe, "was born in Blenheim Township, Oxford County, October 25th, 1824. He was married to Nancy Erb who was born March 6th, 1813, and died July 6th, 1889. They resided near New Dundee, Ontario, until her death when he moved to Berlin where his daughter, Catharine, kept house for him till his death which took place December 7th, 1889. To them were born three children"
