    • DAVID B0TT and wife Mary Ann of Bridgeport, purchased from Mrs. Susannah Snyder the property of 11.28 and 2722- 1/2 sq. ft for $1,500 - March 20, 1905. David Bott was employed in a factory at Berlin and the family assisted in the market gardening at Rosendale. One of the daughters, Mrs. John (Maude) Skoy of Kitchener, remembers her father walking home from Bridgeport after his day's work at the factory. She also remembers walking to Breslau to a woman that practised ''charming" or"brauche", when any of the family had stomach trouble. There were six children: Pearl, Edith (Mrs. John Quesnel, Waterloo), Percy, Andrew, Victoria (Maude) Mrs. John Skoy of Kitchener, Lorne and Harry. The family attended the Evangelical church at Bridgeport. On March 28, 1908 the property was sold to George A. and Elizabeth Reist and the Bott family returned to Bridgeport. Percy Bott died Feb. 5, 1966, 70 years of age. He lived in Kitchener and had been employed by the L. McBrine Co. Ltd. for 45 years. Surviving his wife, the former Mary Trojan; three sons, Donald, Robert and Terrance, all of Kitchener: two brothers, Lorne, Waterloo , and Andrew, Kitchener; two sisters, Mrs. John (Maude) Skoy Kitchener, and Mrs. John (Edith) Quesnel, Waterloo. He was predeceased by a daughter, Mrs. Jerrine Dauberger, a sister, Mrs. Pearl Wittke, and a brother, Harry. He is buried at Woodland cemetery.
