      ELMIRA, Oct. 15.-An aged Elmira citizen, Jacob Steffler, 88, died at his residence on Friday following an illness of one week. Born in Woolwich township, deceased lived in Elmira a long time.

      Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J. L. Ziegler, Guelph, and Mrs. C. F. Roehr of Kitchener, two sons, Enoch are her husband, two daughters, of Kitchener and Lincoln of Elmira,
