      George B. Hallman

      Relatives received word of the death of George B. Hallman, which occurred at Davidson, Saskatchewan. Mr. Hallman, a brother of Jacob A. Hallman and Mrs. George Schlee of Kitchener was born in this district in 1856 at what is known as Upper street, Wilmot township, in Waterloo County. He was a son of Christian and Leah (Bechtel) Hallman. He was in his 80th year. Mr. Hallman, with his family, moved to Manitoba in 1901, and to Saskatchewan in 1905. He had lived in Davidson for the past ten years.

      Mr. Hallman spent the winter in Kitchener about six years ago and on returning to the west, was a passenger on that ill-fated train which was wrecked near Sudbury when a number of persons were killed and Injured. Mr. Hallman suffered severe bruises and shock from which he never fully recovered.

      His wife, one son and one daughter having predeceased him. Mr. Hallman is survived by two sons Jesse and Roy of Davidson,, three brothers, Noah of Stratford, Jesse of Port Huron, Mich., Jacob B. Hallman of Kitchener and Mrs. George Schlee (Eva) also of Kitchener.
