  " Burnet (nee Nichol), born in Traquair, Scotland in 1766. Her daughter Janet married William Scott and they immigrated to Dumfries Twp about 1824. In 1831, Isabel and several of her children immigrated to Canada, but sadly, Isabel died 3 hours before the ship landed in Hamilton.
