  Death of Mrs. Richard Cudney Galt has lost one of its oldest residents, in the person of Martha Miles, wife of Richard Cudney, Chalmers street, who passed away at 2 o'clock, Monday afternoon, aged 67 years. Deceased has been a severe sufferer for a number of months, so that death came in the nature of a release. The late Mrs. Cudney was well and favorably known in Galt and vicinity, where her demise will be generally lamented and the bereaved husband and family, the majority of whom have homes of their own in town, will have the heartfelt sympathy of the community. The funeral took place from her late residence, Chalmers street, to Mount View cemetery, at three o'clock, Wednesday afternoon. The Weekly Reformer 5 Mar 1896 pg 7
