    • Mrs. John Israel

      Following an illness of two weeks Mrs. John Israel passed away yesterday at her home, 56 Louisa Street, in her 68th year. The late Mrs. Israel was born in Conestogo in 1868, but moved to Peel County about 30 years ago. From there she came to this city, with her husband, where they have since resided. She was a prominent member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church and of the Ladies Aid Society. Surviving are her sorrowing husband, two daughters and three sons. They are - John and George of Kitchener and Charles in Peel County, Mrs. W. McWhinney of Listowel and Mrs. L. Westfall of this city. Two brothers and one sister also survive. The are - Alber Knarr, Martin Knarr and Mrs. John Hocischer of this city. The funeral will take place from her residence Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services will be held at the home and in the St. Paul's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Albert Orzen. Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
