    • MRS. S. R. KNECHTEL BURIED - The funeral of the late Mrs. (Rev.) S. R. Knechtel, who passed away at her home on Roy Street on Thursday last was held on Monday, services being conducted at the residence at 12: 30 o'clock by Rev. J. P. Hauch, assisted by Rev. J. J. Litt, of Toronto. Following the services at the residence, services were conducted in Zion Evangelical Church. These were attended by a large gathering of friends and acquaintances of the deceased. Rev. J. P. Hauch was in charge, with Rev. L. H. Wagner, of Regina, Rev. A. Y Haist, of Kitchener, and Rev. M. L. Wing, of St. Jacobs, assisting. Special music was rendered by the combined Ladies' Aids of the Kitchener and Bridgeport churches. The remains were taken to Sebringville for interment where the final rites were performed by Rev. W. J. Zimmerman, of Sebringville and F. A. Lawrence of Stratford. The pall-bearers were the pastors of six neighboring churches, as follows: Rev. S. E. Schrader, Waterloo; Rev. E. Burn, Arnprior; Rev. G. F. Brown, Elmira; Rev. O. G. Hallman, Bridgeport; Rev. W. S. Henrich, New Hamburg; Rev. W. O. Hayne, New Hamburg.
