    After an illness of four weeks, Mrs. Wilhelmina Frickey Doerbecker passed away at the home of her son, ex-mayor Walter W. Frickey, 208 Albert St. North, Waterloo, on Wednesday. She was in her 80th year.

    Born in Germany, the deceased came to Canada with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Corsalitz of Brussels. For the past 55 years she had resided in the Heidelberg and Erbsville districts. She was an adherent of Erbsville Lutheran Church.

    She is survived by four sons, one step-son, two step-daughters, four brothers and two sisters, namely, Fred of Saskatchewan, William, Henry and John, of Brussels, Mrs. Collins and Ida of Buffalo. The sons are Charles, of Buffalo, Alvin, of Rochester, Gordon of Erbsville, Walter, of Waterloo, and Richard of Kitchener; the step-daughters are Mrs. Theresa Nixdorf, of Baden, and Mrs. Ed. Lantz, of Milverton. Thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

    The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Letter and Dreisinger Funeral Home, and thence to Erbsville Lutheran Church for service at 2.45. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery, Rev. Lamach, a former pastor, officiating.

    Gordon G. Frickey, 73, of RR 3, Waterloo, died today in K-W Hospital after a two-week illness.

    Born in Woolwich Township Oct. 7, 1887, a son of the late Henry Frickey and the former Wilhelmine Gorselitz, he farmed in the Erbsville area for many years before retiring nine years ago.

    He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Erbsville.

    Surviving are his wife, the former Minerva Schmidt, whom he married in Heidelberg in 1911; a son, Vernon of Clifford; a daughter, Mrs. Orval (Wilma) Schnarr of Waterloo, and two grandchildren. One son, seven brothers and one sister predeceased him.

    The body is at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo, where the funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. Adolph Kappes of Conestogo will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Erbsville.

    The funeral of Walter W. Frickey, Alderman of Waterloo Council, former Mayor, and well known auctioneer, who died suddenly at his home at noon yesterday, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Letter and Dresinger Funeral Home, Waterloo, to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Kitchener, for service at 2:30. Interment will take place in St. Peter's Cemetery. Rev. A.W. Lotz, pastor of St. Peter's Church, will conduct the services.

    SCHNARR, Wilma Eileen Passed away peacefully, with her daughters by her side, at Innisfree House, Kitchener on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Beloved mother of Brenda Jameson and her husband Mel, and Deb Courtemanche and her husband Rod, all of Waterloo and her daughter Susie Gropp who predeceased her in 2015. Wilma was born in 1930 on her family farm on Conservation Drive in Waterloo. After she married Orval, they farmed on Columbia Street, Waterloo until they purchased a farm in Newton in 1965. She worked tirelessly in the barn, the fields and in her gardens. Retiring in 1977, she moved back to Waterloo where she continued to live until this past December. Thank-you to the staff at St. Jacobs Place, her "home-away-from-home", for their care and compassion the last five months. Friends are invited to share their memories of Wilma with her family during visitation at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Reception to follow. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Breslau. Condolences in memory of Wilma may be made to Innsifree House, Kitchener or St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, Kitchener, and can be arranged through the funeral home
