    MRS. JOSEPH CLEMENS.

    The death took place of Mrs. Clemens, widow of the late Joseph Clemens, on Friday night at the home of Mrs. Charles Moss, Centreville. The deceased was in her 85th year and lived in Kitchener for many years previous to moving to Centreville three years ago. There are no children. The funeral took place on Monday Sept. 10th, at 1 o'clock from the house in Centreville to the Zion Evangelical church, Kitchener, and interment took place at Mount Hope cemetery.

    Mrs. Jos. Clemens Is Called Home

    At the home of her daughter. Mrs. Chas. Moss, Centerville, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock there passed away in the person of Mrs. Joseph Clemens an old and highly respected resident of North Waterloo.

    The deceased lady was in her eighty fifth year, and was born in Waterlo, Township. For many years she resided in Waterloo and upon the death of her husbamd twenty seven years ago when she came to this city and took up her residence on Victoria street where she resided continuously until three and a half years ago, when she removed to the home of her daughter in Centreville.

    The deceased lady was an ardent worker in the interests of the Evangelical church, and her kindly and generous disposition endeared her to a wide circle of friends.

    To mourn her passing besides her daughter one brother Mr. Jacob Holm of Plattsville, and one sister, Mrs. Abraham Gingerich near Doon survive.

    Funeral services will be held at the residence of her daughter in Centreville on Monday Sept 10th and later in the Evangelical church here. Interment will take place in Elmira cemetery.

    John I. Moss

    A former resident of Centreville, John I. Moss, 58, died at Victoria Hospital, London, Saturday. He had been ill two weeks. Surviving are one brother, Herbert Moss, Kitchener; and two daughters, Mrs. David Seaton and Mrs. Jack Turner, both of London. His wife, the former Georgina Flawn, died eight years ago.

    The funeral will be held in London Tuesday afternoon.

    Former Kitchener Man Married in Buffalo Saturday

    BUFFALO, N.Y., April 11. Mrs. C. K. Moss and Hubert Moss of Kitchener. Ont., were guests on Saturday afternoon. April 9, at 4 o'clock at the marriage of Miss Margaret Wendel, daughter of Mrs. Lucy Wendel, to Harvey Clemens Moss. Rev. F. E. Staugh, of Buffalo, performing the ceremony at the home of the bride's mother here at 133 Eaton Street.

    The bride wore a gown of white satin trimmed with bands of lade and carried sweetheart roses and white sweet peas. She was attended by Miss Gertrude Reeves, who was attired in shell pink georgette and carried pink roses and sweet peas. Herbert Moss attended his brother. The house was decorated throughout with spring flowers also the bride's table at which covers were laid for ten.

    Other out-of-town guests included Mrs. A. Breen and Miss Lydia Mahoney of Rochester, and Henry F. Wendel of Honeoye Falls, N. Y.

    Immediately following the ceremony the couple left for an Eastern trip which will include a sojourn latter Canada and after May lst they will be at home here at 133 Eaton Street.
