    Notes:

Sad Death - Little Richard Baxter Passes Away of Infantile Paralysis - The community was greatly shocked on Thursday morning to learn of the death of little Richard Baxter of Infantile Paralysis. In the past several years this dread disease has been reported in different parts of the Province, but this is the first time it has visited in this village. Little Richard, who was the only son of Mrs. Audrey Baxter, had been ill for several days and it was not until the day before his demise that his illness was definitely diagnosed as infantile paralysis. Steps were immediately taken to obtain the necessary serum, but to no avail, and the little fellow was gathered Home on Thursday morning. Owing to Board of Health regulations the funeral was held the same afternoon. The sorrowing mother and two little sisters have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.
