    Death of Mr. Hushin

    We very much regret to state that a telegram was received here yesterday morning stating Mr. Hushin, so widely and popularly known as conductor of the train on the Galt Branch of the Grand Trunk Railway, had expired in St. Joseph's Hospital, Guelph, during the preceding night. Mr. Hushin was taken to the hospital about a week ago in the hope that a thorough course of treatment there would restore his health, which had lately been very bad; but his constitution appears to have been too much shattered to permit of his rallying. Particulars of his death have not as yet been received, but it must have been somewhat sudden, for he was reported as improving on Wednesday. Poor Mike! In his prime he was one of the most popular conductors that ever ran on the Grand Trunk and old and young alike had a good word for him. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss.
