Special thanks to the staff of Leisureworld Caregiving Centre, Elmira, the nurses of 3 East and Dr. John Campbell for their compassion. Harry was a life-long resident of St. Clements where he operated a dairy farm for 42 years. For those closest to him, his uniqueness was especially expressed in his love of design and machines, interests brought together in his classic car collection and in creative projects such as customizing his tractors and building a self-propelled forage wagon. His fondness for music also infused his life, whether in the barn, in the car, in his home or at church. Inspired by his strong faith, he took time to participate in his community; he was a member of St. Clement RC Church and a member of the Waterloo Knights of Columbus Council 5135. In both his public and family life, he was cherished for his strong principles, his warm sense of humour and his generous spirit. Friends are invited to share their memories of Harry with his family at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Wednesday, January 18, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be recited at 9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Harry's life will be held at Saint Clement RC Church in St. Clements on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at 11 a.m. with Father Robert Hetu as celebrant.
