    Henry Hilker

    The death occurred at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon of Henry Hilker, age 55 years, at his home. Mr. Hilker, a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church was born in Linwood and came to this city 35 years ago. In October 1903 he was married to Emma Bierwagen. Death was due to a heart condition. Surviving are his widow, two sons and one daughter, Alvin of Waterloo, Harold and Florence at home, and seven brothers and four sisters, Mrs. William Wright, Conestogo, Amos Hilker, Kitchener, Mrs. Henry Lackner, Elmira, Fred and George Hilker, Kitchener, Mrs. Herman Sturm, Waterloo, John Hilker in Swalswell, Alta., Mrs. Otto Stauch, Kitchener, Charles of Elmira, Clayton in Waterloo and Milton of this city. Three grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon from the home at 2.30 o'clock and thence to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery. Rev. A. Orzen will officiate.

    Hilker, Alvin George

    At the K-W Hospital, on Monday, Oct. 23, 1973, Alvin G. Hilker, of 169 Louisa St., Kitchener, husband of the late Melinda Such; father of Kenneth and Donald Hilker, Mrs. Bernice Campeau and Mrs. Stuart Wilhelm (Marlene), all of Kitchener; brother of Harold of Waterloo; predeceased by one sister Florence; also survived by 11 grandchildren. Mr. Hilker was an employee of Greb Shoes and a member of the 25 Year Club and an active and long-time member of Grace Lutheran Church. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, Kitchener. Funeral service on Thursday at 2 p.m. from Grace Lutheran Church. Internment Mount Hope cemetery. Donations as an expression of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the building fund of Grace Lutheran Church.

    Hilker, Harold - At St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on Saturday, July 11, 1987, age 80 years, of 164 Fergus Ave., Kitchener, formerly of John St. W., Waterloo.

    Mr. Hilker was a member of the Church of the Holy Saviour, Waterloo. He retired from BF Goodrich Canada Inc., where he had worked for over 40 years. Predeceased by his wife, the former Jean Pym and one brother, Alvin. Dear father of Penny Schreiber of Kitchener and Deborah Hilker of Alberta. He is also lovingly remembered by three grandchildren, Mark and Nathan Schreiber and Stacey Hilker.

    Mr. Hilker's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, after 2 p.m. on Monday (today). Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, Tuesday at 2 p.m., Rev. David Soihur officiating. Interment to follow in Mt. Hope cemetery, Waterloo.

    Florence B. Hilker

    Ill for the past ten years, Florence B. Hilker, daughter of Mrs. Emma Hilker and the late Henry Hilker, passed away today at Hamilton. She was 27 years of age. Surviving are her mother and two brothers, Alvin of Waterloo and Harold of Kitchener. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon from Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home at three o'clock and thence to Mount Hope Cemetery for internment. Rev. A. Orzen will officiate. The remains will be at the funeral home.
