Mrs. Milton Durst, 54 of R. R. # 4 Elmira, died suddenly at her home Monday. Born in Neustadt, Jan. 28 1898, she was the former Charlotte Gaiser, daughter of Mrs. Dora Gaiser and the late Henry Gaiser. She attended St. James' Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs. Surviving are her husband to whom she was married October 7 1925; one daughter, Mrs William Geise of St. Jacobs; four brothers, Norman of Birmingham Mich., Edgar and Elmer of Waterloo and Harry of Guelph, and five sisters, Mrs. Fred Durst, Mrs. Gordon Miller, Mrs. John Witzel of Kitchener, Mrs. Elwood Duffy of Hanover and Miss Dorothy Gaiser of Waterloo.

The funeral will be held at St. James' Church, St. Jacobs, Friday at 2: 30 p.m. with Rev. H. H. Brose officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacob's Lutheran Cemetery. The body will rest at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Friday at 11: 30 a.m. when removal will be made to the church. Friends are requested to pay their respects prior to the service.

Giese, Jean (Mrs. William) - On Monday, January 3, 2005, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Jean (Durst) Giese, in her 79th year, formerly of RR 2, Elmira. Wife of the late William Giese (2002). Dear niece of Dorothy Bird of Kitchener. Jean will be missed by her family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Milton and Charlotte (Gaiser) Durst. At Jean's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at St. James' Lutheran church, St. Jacobs on Friday, January 7 at 2 pm with Rev. Harold Brill officiating. Interment of cremated remains will take place at St. James Lutheran Cemetery, St. Jacobs on Friday, January 7 at 1 pm. In her memory donations to St. James Lutheran Church building Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be obtained by calling Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, 669-2207.
