Wettlaufer, Isabel - At Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, on Wednesday, May 24, 2000, age 95 years. Dear mother of Helen McColl of London, Marjorie Ambrose and William Wettlaufer and his wife Linda, all of Petersburg. She is lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren, Joan and Vid, Doug and Diane, John and Teresa, Marion and Rob, Kevin and Dianne, David and Margo, Craig and Lisa, Kelly and Rob and Kim and Leon; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband Norman "Jack" Wettlaufer in 1971; sons-in-law Larry McColl and Rob Ambrose; her parents, Mary and William Watson; two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Wettlaufer was a charter member of Knox Presbyterian Church and was the church's first organist. She was a founding member of Project Manna, a weekly luncheon program for seniors held at Erb Street Mennonite Church. She worked with Manna until she was 85. Mrs. Wettlaufer's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo from 2-4 p.m. today (Saturday). The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church on Sunday, May 28, 2000 at 2: 30 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Walter McLean and Rev. Brooke Ashfield officiating. Cremation will follow. Donations to Waterloo Regional Habitat for Humanity or the Memorial Fund of Knox Presbyterian Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
