    Mrs. H.C. Gimbel - Many sorrowing relatives and friends attended the funeral of the late Mrs. H.C. Gimbel, which was held on Sunday from the family residence at Freeport. Rev. W. Patterson of the Presbyterian Church, Preston of which deceased was a member conducted the service. Service was held at the United Church at Freeport. The pall bearers were Jacob Gimbel, David Gottfried, Isaac Schiedel, E. Shantz, Abram Gimbel and John Gimbel.

    Notes:

    MRS. OTILLIE RAHN

    The death occurred at the home of her son-in-law, H. C, Blouse. Ayr, yesterday of Annie Otillie Gimble, relict of the late Andreas Rahn, in her 65th year. The late Mrs. Rahn had been a resident of Preston for 47 years. Born in Freeport, Mrs. Rahn resided there for some 17 years, then moving to Preston. Eight months ago she moved to Ayr with her daughter. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church and also the ladies' aid society and misionary so- city. Her husband predeceased her four years ago.

    The survivors are: one son, Andrew Rahn of Detroit; one daughter. Mrs. H. C. Blouse, Ayr; one sister, Mrs. David Godfrey of Kitchener, and three brothers, Jacob Gimble of Preston. Albert Gimble of Toronto and John Gimble of Freeport. Seven grand-children also survive.
    The funeral will be held from the H.K. Stager Funeral Home on Saturday at 3.30 p.m. Interment will be in Prestn cemetery.

    Mrs. Edmund Shantz

    An esteemed Waterloo resident in the person of Mrs. Edmund Shantz, 122 Erb street weet, died at St. Mary's Hospital on Sunday in her 53rd year. She was born at Free port.

    Surviving are her husband four daughters, Mrs. Fred Moyer, Elmira, Mrs. Albert Schmidt Kitchener, Clara and Vera Shantz at home two cons, Lorne and Walter Shantz at home, two sisters, Mrs. A Rahn, Preston, Mrs. D. Gottfried, Kitchener, three brothers A. Gimble, Toronto, J. Gimble, Preston and Jack Gimble, Freeport, also five grand children.

    The funeral was held Wednesday to Mount Hope cemetery. Rev. H. A. Kellerman officiated.

    Mrs. Henry Blouse, 61, of 310 St Leger St., died at her home today after a brief illness. Born in Preston, her maiden name was Adeline Rahn, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Rahn. She attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

    Surviving are her husband; five sons, Oscar, Harry, Andrew, Car and Kenneth, all of Kitchener; two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Marie) Brown, Detroit, and Mrs. Howard (Laura) McCloy, Kitchener; one brother, Andrew Rahn, Detroit, and 13 grandchildren.

Father of Larry and Bonnie Lawrence of RR 1, Wroxeter. Grandfather of Adam Lawrence and his friend Lindsay Scott and Sarah Lawrence and her friend Andrew Laing. Brother of Marjorie Runstedler of Palmerston, Glen and Ellen Lawrence, Marlene Thompson, Doreen and Tubby Collins, all of Cambridge. Predeceased by his son Robert Lawrence and his brother Earl Lawrence. Harry was in the Royal Canadian Navy and served in the Second World War. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a Legion Memorial Service at 6: 45 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 24, at 11 a.m. Reverend Steven Cox officiating. Loving father of Elizabeth (Beth) Brubacher and her husband Murray of B.C., Patricia (Pat) Reesor and her husband John of Peterborough, Jeanette McNeill and her husband John of Scarborough, Julie Moyer of Peterborough and Terri Schulz and her husband Eric of North York. Bob will be greatly missed by his 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Bob lived his entire life in the K-W area and was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. Bob will be remembered as an avid fisherman, a loving family man, a man rich in friendships, a devoted follower of Jesus and a man who celebrated and embraced life with passion.
