    Mrs. Daniel L. Jantzi Of Topping Succumbs

    Death in the Stratford General Hospital early Sunday morning claimed the life of Mrs. Daniel L Jantzi, Topping, in North Easthope, after a week's illness, at the age of 50 years 5 months and 4 days.

    Born in North Easthope, a daughter of Joseph Nafziger and the late Magdalena Jantzi, the departed woman had lived there all her life.

    Surviving are her husband; a son, Joseph, North Easthope; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph K. Jantzi and Mrs. Noah Jantzi, of Wellesley Tp.; a sister, Mrs. Moses Jantzi, North Easthope, and three grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 10 a.m., from her late home, with interment following in the Amish-Mennonite Cemetery, seventh line, Wellesley Township.

Dear father of Dan Jantzi (Anna), Ruth Anne Kuepfer (Manuel) both of Milverton, Saloma Jantzi (Joseph) of Aylmer, Cornelius Jantzi of Auburn and David Jantzi (Catherine) of Millbank. Also survived by 28 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren, two great- great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Esther Streicher and Lena Kuepfer and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by infant sons Peter and Simon, grandchildren Emanuel Jantzi and Kristene Kuepfer, four great-grandchildren and sisters Fanny and Elizabeth. Born in Perth County, son of the late Daniel and Lydia (Nafziger) Jantzi. The funeral will be at the home of Manuel Kuepfer, R.R.# 1, Milverton on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. Visitation on Thursday. Interment The Amish Cemetery, Wellesley Township.

Sadly missed by his 27 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Cornelius Jantzi of Auburn and David & Catherine Jantzi of Millbank, by sisters Saloma & Joe Jantzi of Aylmer and Ruth Anne & Manuel Kuepfer of Milverton, by brothers-in-law George Kuepfer of Mississauga and John Jantzi of RR#2 Atwood and by sister-in-law Sarah Kuepfer of Newton.

    Predeceased by his parents Joseph & Lydia (Kuepfer) Jantzi, his son Emanuel, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, by brothers Peter & Simon Jantzi, by brothers-in-law Rufus, Adam & Albert Kuepfer, and by sisters-in-law Leona Jantzi, Ida & Peter Schwartz and Clara Kuepfer.

    Dan was a member of the Old Order Amish Church where he was a minister for 27 years.
    Relatives and friends may call at the family home, 5404 Road 108 RR#1 Milverton after 1:00 pm on Saturday until Sunday at 8:00 pm Funeral service will be conducted on Monday July 30, 2018 at 9:00 am. Bishop Rueben Streicher officiating. Burial will take place in the 7th Line Wellesley Township Amish Mennonite Cemetery.
