Mrs. Thomas Oliver, a well-known, life-long resident of this district, passed away this morning at her home, 21 Rose street. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Burnett, she was a member of Knox's Presbyterian church and the women's organizations, She also was a member of the Red Cross Society. Predeceased by her husband 25 years ago, she is survived by two nieces and two nephews. W. J. Ferguson, Wellington street, is a brother-in-law. Friends will be received at the T. Little and Son funeral home. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2.30 p.m., with interment in Mount View cemetery.
