    Notes:

    John Nelson Kanmacher, 93 Piper Street, Ayr, a resident of this village for over 50 years, passed away in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday, October 27th. He was in his 79th year. Born in Waterloo County, he was a son of the late John Kanmacher and Nellie Brandon. A machinist by trade, he retired several years ago. Mr. Kanmacher was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, New Dundee; member and past master of Ayr Masonic Lodge No. 172. Surviving are his wife, Klara Kovacs; a daughter, Mrs. Rose Baas of Sarnia; a son Brian of Troy; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife Gwin Carter, one brother and three sisters. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St. James' Lutheran Church, New Dundee, on Saturday at 2: 30 p.m. Arrangements by Coutts and Son Funeral Home, Galt.
