SNIDER, Ruth Marie - Of Saint Luke's Place, Cambridge, on Monday, January 14, 2008, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold E. Snider (1991). Kind and loving mother of Robert Snider and his wife Barb of Stratford. Lovingly remembered by one granddaughter, Stacey and her husband Bob Friesen and two great-granddaughters, Lily and Elle. Survived by one brother, Norman Snider and his wife Elaine of Wellesley and two sisters, Mildred Asmussen and Melva Cavanagh, both of Kitchener and sister-in-law, Betty Snider of Peterborough. Predeceased by her parents, Melvin and Annie Snider, one brother, Clare (Sonny) Snider and one sister, Arlene Wright. Mrs. Snider was born in Wilmot Township, had been a lifelong resident of the Cambridge area. She was an employee at Kralinator Filter during WW II then worked at Ray's Fruit Market and the Coffee Bar in Preston and was the receptionist/elevator operator at Preston Spring Gardens for many years. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home , 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. when the complete funeral service will be conducted.
