GURTON, Barbara (nee Neitzel) - Of RR 1, Ayr, passed away, after a long battle with cancer, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in Kitchener, on Monday, May 7, 2007. She was in her 61st year. She was co-owner and operator of Ideal Pest Control. Beloved wife of Reg Gurton. Loved mother of Lynn (Bill) and grandmother to Shaylyn of Florida. Loving mother to Sandra (Don) of Toronto, Judy (Manuel), Tammy (Carmon), Randy (Donna) of Kitchener. Blessed grandmother of Stacey, Tara, Natyya, Tiffany, Jessica, Melissa, Christina, Andrew, Alexander, Lisa, James, Megan, Jennifer and great-grandmother to Austin. Loving sister to Mary Ann (Paul), Darlene (John) of Ayr, Judy, Bill (Phyllis), Charlene Donald (Ethel) of British Columbia, Shirley (Al) of New Dundee, Wayne (Susan) of Kincardine, David (Linda) of New Hamburg. Loving niece of Jean Kieswetter. Also the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother, father and brothers, Melvin and Cameron. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Grand River Hospital and all the nurses at Freeport Hospital for taking such good care of her and also the nurses that came to the house. Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service at The Calvary Church, 173 Northumberland St., Ayr, on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment in New Dundee Cemetery. NEITZEL, Derek Passed away at his residence, R.R. # 1 Bright. He was born 34 years ago in Kitchener. Beloved son of Jill Manser and her husband Don of Waterloo and the late Melvin Neitzel. Sadly missed by his daughters Nicole and Shayna and their mother Marlaine Steele of Plattsville. Dear brother of Tracy Ann Neitzel and husband Paul Bowman, Destiny Winkler, Desiree Winkler all of Kitchener, Shannon Chandler of Brantford and loving uncle of Zachary, Jed, Sophia, Noah and Raya. Remembered by step-brothers Jeremy Winkler of Kitchener and Josh Winkler of Baden. Grandson of Bernice McAllister of Kitchener and Elizabeth Winkler of Atwood. Missed by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Derek was predeceased by his step-father Glen Winkler, grandparents Emile Savard, Al Winkler, Melvin Sr. and Violet Neitzel, and uncles Brent Savard and Wade Savard. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 1: 15 p.m. followed by the funeral mass at 2: 00 p.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, New Hamburg.
