    Zehr, Simon S., son of John and Barbara (Schmidt), was born in Elma Twp., Ont., Mar. 18, 1902; died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., Sept. 19. 1975; aged 73 y. On Jan. 25, 1925, he was married to Sarah Bast, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Lloyd), one daughter (Eileen - Mrs. Melvin Boshart), 9 grandchildren, one sister (Fanny - Mrs. Henry Herrfort). And one brother (Joseph). He was preceded in death by one son (Ervin) in 1965, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters. He was a member of the Maple View Church, where funeral services were held on Sept. 21, in charge of Alvin Leis and Jacob Roes; interment in adjoining cemetery.

On Dec. 23, 1930, he was married to Edna Schweitzer, who survives. Also surviving are 4 daughters (Erma-Mrs. Kenneth Burgetz, Shirley-Mrs. Oliver Kropf, Loreen-Mrs. Lloyd Ropp, and Anna Mae), 6 grandchildren, 3 brothers (Christian, Joseph, and Simon), and 3 sisters (Mary-Mrs. David Kuepfer, Katie-Mrs. Solomon Kuepfer, and Fannie-Mrs. Henry Herrford). He attended the Poole Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held Feb. 4, in charge of Herbert Schultz and Moses Roth.

    Of Route 1, Linwood, passed away Friday October 4, at the Listowel Memorial Hospital; he was born in Mornington Township 68 years ago, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kuepfer; dear husband of Nancy Lebold. Father of Elmer, Lloyd, Ester (Mrs. Aaron Zehr) and Laura (Mrs. Jonas Kuepfer), all of Route 1, Linwood; Marie (Mrs. Cornelius Kuepfer) of Route 1, Newton; brother of Andrew Kuepfer of Listowel, Katie (Mrs. Elmer Kuepfer) and Ema (Mrs. Dan Zehr), both of Route 1, Newton; also survived by 28 grandchildren; predeceased by one daughter and three brothers.

    Friends may call at the home of his son, Lloyd Kuepfer where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday October 7, at 1 p.m. Bishop Amos Albrecht will officiate. Interment will follow in the Seventh Line Amish Mennonite cemetery, Wellesley Township. Arrangements by Futher Brothers of Wellesley.

    She was born in Mornington township 80 years ago, a daughter of the late Joseph S. Kuepfer and the former Fannie Schmidt. She was a member of the Old Order Amish faith.

    Beloved wife of Elmer L. Kuepfer, and lovingly remembered by her children, Allan K. Kuepfer , Fanny and her husband Reuben J. Kuepfer , all of RR 1, Milverton, Laura and her husband Ammon Kuepfer of RR 2, Milverton, Jacob K. Kuepfer and his wife Martha of RR 1, Newton; sadly missed by 30 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Andrew of Zurich and one sister, Emma (Mrs. Dan. W. Zehr) of RR 1, Newton.

    Katie was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Laura Kuepfer in 1990; one grandchild, Charlotte Anne and four brothers, Christian, Mose, Noah and Jacob.

    Friends and relatives may call at the home of her son-in-law, Reuben J. Kuepfer, Lot 12, Con. 4, Mornington township (RR 1, Milverton), after 7:30 p.m., tonight (Wednesday) and until Friday, where the service will be held at 1 p.m., with Bishop Joseph A. Kuepfer officiating. Interment to follow in the Seventh Line Amish Mennonite cemetery, Wellesley township.

He was born 94 years ago in Mornington Township and was the son of the late Joseph S. and Fannie (Schmidt) Kuepfer. Andrew resided in New Hamburg and was formerly of Millbank, Listowel and Zurich. Beloved husband of Pearl (Gingerich) Kuepfer. Loving father of Clayton and Amy Kuepfer, William and Anna Mae Kuepfer, Rosina and Laverne Lichty, Lorne and Christine Kuepfer, Melinda and Ivan Lichty, Emmanuel Kuepfer, Leonard and Grace Kuepfer, Laverne Kuepfer, Dennis and Susann Kuepfer, Donald and Lorraine Kuepfer, Darlene Cole, Charlotte and James McIntosh, Gloria and John KaBlak, Leona Van Dyke, Virginia and Harold Parkhouse, Pauline and John Blok. Step-father of Gary and Anne Gingerich, Carol Roth and Pete Wilson, Patty Ollies. Sadly missed by his 37 grand-children, 49 great-grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren. Andrew was a lifelong member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank. Andrew and Pearl managed and organized Blessings Community Store and Foodbank in Zurich for over ten years. Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank. Grandmother to Andrea Shantz (Nick Martin), Lindsay and Daniel Shantz, Becky and Matthew Grimmer and friend Meaghen, Tabitha and Amber Burgetz and three great-grandchildren. Schneiders for several years when she left to raise her family and to babysit other children. She returned to work in her later years at Mutual Life until her retirement. Erma was a longtime member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church and active member of the WMA women's group. Friends are invited to share their memories of Erma with her family at the Edward R.     KUEPFER, Elmer Passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Listowel Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Elmer resided in Ethel and was the son of the late Joel and Christena (Kuepfer) Kuepfer. Dear companion of Irene Beggs. Loving father of Leanne and Norman Kuepfer of Palmerston, Keith Kuepfer and Christa Brownlee of Milverton. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Marie and Amos Kuepfer of Milverton, Allan and Emaline Kuepfer, John and Kathleen Kuepfer, all of R.R.#1, Newton, Harvey and Ruth Kuepfer of R.R.#1, Millbank, Dorothy and Ivan Kuepfer of New Brunswick, Selena and Joseph Kuepfer of Millbank and Marie Kuepfer of Newton. Elmer was predeceased by David, Sarah, Cora and Leona. Also missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Elmer was a member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton, tonight (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m. and again Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank where Pastor Jim Brown will officiate. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
