    Mr. George E. Muter Succumbs at Freeport; Leaves Several Relatives in This District


    Word has been received in Elmira of the death recently at Freeport Sanatorium of Mr. George Muter, a native of Woolwich and a resident of Hanover, who succumbed at Freeport Sanatorium to an illness of 11 months duration. Mrs. Irvin Beisel and Mrs. George Dreisinger of Elmira are cousin and niece, respectively, of the late Mr. Muter, while Mrs. George Miller, of West Montrose is an aunt.

    The deceased man, who was in his 69th year, was the eldest son of the late Frederick and Elizabeth Muter. After helping his parents on the farm, he followed the blacksmithing business for about 25 years being located in Mildmay, Burford and Hanover. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Canadian Order of Foresters and Masonic Order. He leaves to mourn his passing, his widow and three children: Carl, of Toronto: Miss Marie and Fred, at home, also two sisters and three brothers, viz., Mrs. George Manderson of Hawarden, Sask., Mrs. Geo. S. Schwindt of Walkerton, Jacob of Loreburn, Sask., Milton of Hamilton, and Sheldon of Kitchener.
