    Snider, Loretta, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Erb, died Dec. 12, 1967; aged 81 years. She was married to Deldon Snider in 1907. Surviving are her husband, 2 sons (Leonard and Edward), one daughter (Delores-Mrs. Lloyd Schiedel), 2 sisters (May-Mrs. Addis Cressman and Mary-Mrs. J. H. Weber), 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. One son (Ronald) preceded her in death. She was a member of the Erb Street Church, Waterloo, Ont., where funeral services were held Dec. 15, with J. B. Martin and Milton Swartzentruber officiating.

    SNIDER, Ronald E., son of Delton and Lauretta Snider, was born Oct. 25, 1908; died at the K-W Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., March 9, 1966; aged 57 y. 4 m. 25 d. On June 24, 1931, he was married to Lilliam Baer, who survives. Also surviving are his parents, 2 daughters (Joy - Mrs. Keith Witmer and Ann - Mrs. Peter Morgan), one son (Glenn), 2 brothers (Leonard and Edward), one sister (Delores - Mrs. Lloyd Schiedel), and 3 grandchildren. He was a member of the Erb Street Church, where funeral services were held March 12, with J.B. Martin officiating, assisted by Milton Schwartzentruber.

    LEONARD E. SNIDER 1913-2007 Passed away peacefully on Saturday May 12, 2007 at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre, 2 days prior to his 94th birthday. Father of Barry and his wife Cheryl of Waterloo and Poppy of Tori and Aaron. Also survived by brother-in-law, Lloyd Scheidel, many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Helen (Fleming), 2003; parents, Deldon and Loretta (Erb); brothers, Ron and Eddie and sister, Delores. Len was a lifelong resident of Waterloo and proprietor of Waterloo Stove and Appliances where he got to know and appreciate all of his customers. After he sold in 1976, he had the time to travel extensively spreading his goodwill to all he touched. Len will always be remembered for his love of life and the friendships and fun he had with everyone he met throughout his life. He was a life member of the Waterloo Lions Club and Past District Governor. He cherished and enjoyed his membership as a Mason, Shriner and Jester. He was a 61 year member of Waterloo Lodge No. 539 A.F. & A. M. and charter member of Brotherhood Lodge No. 723 A.F. & A. M. He was the recipient of the prestigious William Mercer Wilson medal in 1989. Member of Kitchener Chapter No. 117 R.A.M. Royal City Lodge of Perfection, Guelph Chapter Rose Croix and Moore Sovereign Consistory - Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. He contributed in countless ways as a member of Mocha Temple Shriners, Past President Waterloo County Shrine Club, Mocha Motor Corp and Mocha Jeepsters. He travelled throughout North America as a member and ambassador of London Court No. 56 Royal Order of Jesters. He was also a member of First United Church, Waterloo. Many thanks to the staff at Columbia Forest - particularly Eby House for their care and compassion these past four years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Len with his family during memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held on Wednesday at 6: 30 in the funeral home chapel. The memorial service to celebrate Len's life will be held at First United Church, King and William Streets, Waterloo on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 11: 00 a.m. with Rev. Richard Hawley officiating. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Condolences for the family and donations to the Shriners Hospitals for Children may be arranged through the funeral home, 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com. In living memory of Len, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
