    CHARLES ZINGER

    A Kitchener resident of 20 years, Charles Zinger, 78, of 31 St. Leger St., died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital. Born Nov. 15, 1878, at Weisenburg, Ont., he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Philip Zinger. He was a member of St. Mary's RC Church. His first wife, the former Josephine Joseph, died in 1935. In 1945 he married the former Louise Wilfong, who survives. Survivors include four sons, William and Philip of Elmira, Louis of Waterloo. Harold of Inglewood, Calf.; two daughters, Mrs. Allie (Eleanor) Walter of Wallenstein, Mrs. Victor (Mary) Seliner of Kitchener; two brothers, John and Alfred of Kitchener: two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Joan) Lehman of Kitchener, Mrs. William Ariss of California; 20 grandchildren and three great-grand-children. Two sons. Charles and George; two daughters; three brothers, Philip, Henry and Edward; and two sisters, Clara and Theresa, predeceased him. The body rested at the Keffer Funeral Home. Requiem high mass was solemnized Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church and burial was is St. Theresa's Cemetery, Elmira. The rosary was recited at the funeral home Tuesday at 8 P..•

    LEHMAN, Clarence Andrew - After a lengthy illness, at Victoria Hospital, London, Ont., on Friday, Dec. 2, 1994, 76 years of age. Clarence was employed at Caya Fabric Ltd. before his retirement. He belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 50, Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by his daughter, Kathy Matte of Kitchener. Predeceased by his parents; wife, Dorothy Lehman; brothers, Alfred and Edward Lehman and sisters, Marie Gottfried and Theresa Mattusch.

Eleanor Walter, in her 92nd year, of Elmira.Beloved wife of the late Aloysius "Al" Walter (1991). Loving and devoted mother of Betty and Jerome "Buster" Ertel of Elmira, Marlene and Ken Brubacher of Pine Tree Harbour, Joan and Bill Hahn of Elmira, Richard and Fay Walter of RR 2, Wallenstein. Also lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Harold Zinger of Torrence, California. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Josephine Zinger; daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Paul Karger, and one great-granddaughter in infancy; five brothers, William, Charles, Louis, Phillip and George and two sisters; Mary Sellner and one sister in infancy. Eleanor was a 50 year member of the CWL. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, Flamingo Drive, Elmira on Saturday, September 16 at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery. Parish prayers will be offered on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. In her memory, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or Chateau Gardens Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.

    HAHN, Margaret Joan It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Joan Hahn passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018, at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, at the age of 76 years. Throughout her illness this amazing woman showed love, strength and concern for others, always putting her family first. Joan will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 57 years, Bill Hahn; her son Daniel and his wife Jackie, and granddaughter Caroline; her daughter Julie Ferrier and her husband Bill, granddaughter Tanya (Trevor) Fisher, and precious great-granddaughter Mya, and granddaughter Jessica (Ian) Atfield.     DIETRICH, Ronald John Francis - Passed peacefully, at home in Tiverton, Ontario, with Barbara, his family and Bennie at his side, on Saturday, August 26, 2006. Born in Waterloo, on an October 23rd day, to parents, Lloyd (Butch) Dietrich and Marie Dietrich (Zinger) and elder brother of Robert. Ron Dietrich, attended St. Louis Catholic School, St. Jerome's Collegiate and then graduated from Lougheed Business College in Kitchener. After a brief employ with Tony Day Sweater Company, where he met and later married his beloved Barbara Rose Strome, Ronald embarked on a successful 34 year Sales Career with Meyer Mercer Industrial Equipment, based in Waterloo interacting with numerous local businesses and manufacturing companies. Always the avid sportsman, he was also involved in the origination of the Fur Management Course offered at local colleges in Ontario in coordination with the Ministry of Natural Resources where he was an Instructor for many years to promote humane trapping and education. Father to Lisa Rae (Derek) and Deanna Stan (James) and loving Grandfather and "Pa" to his four grandchildren, MacKenzie and Jessica Rae and Graham and Taylor Stan. Cherished son- in-law of Mary Strome of Waterloo. After living in Waterloo for over 50 years, Ron and Barbara relocated to Tiverton, Ontario in 1992, where they enjoyed their gardens, quiet country living around Lake Huron and for the next eight years Ron dedicated himself part-time as a well respected Bus driver for Laidlaw Transit supporting the Bruce Central school district. There will be no visitation per Ron's request. Friends and family are invited to attend the interment service to be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 1: 30 p.m. at Parkview Cemetery, 335 University Avenue E., Waterloo. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ron at the place, they spent all their time and found so much happiness together.
